Large sized zipper top travel bag. Whole cloth channel stitched bag. Pattern comes with 2 pre-bent stays. Additional bag stays are available to purchase for $14.00/pair. Size: 14” Tall x 17” wide x 8” deep.

Materials needed: See supply list on back of pattern (pictured above) Bring to class: Sewing machine in good, working order Fabric: Outside bag - 1 yard non directional Inside bag - 2 ¾ yard Accent fabric - ¾-1 yard Interfacing- Bosal’s- IN-R-FORM: dbl sided fusible batting Machine needle - Mircotex 90/14 Walking Foot Seam ripper Turning tool Measuring tape Quilter's Select 2.5" x 36" ruler (suggested, for marking quilting lines) Frixion/ Chalk (iron off preferred) Regular pins (heavy duty) and thin pins 6 Quilting safety pins (large) Clips 60 mm Rotary Cutter (preferred)/ 45 mm can be used) Roxanne glue-base-it 1/8-1/4 both sided tape- Quilting glove (nice when quilt bag) Stiletto Spray protection for fabric (applied w/ the completion of the bag) Fabric & paper scissors Snack and/or lunch All of the materials needed are available for purchase at the Cottage. |

| Instructor Bio: | Laura Small began sewing with needle and thread designing Barbie clothes from leftover fabric her mom used to create the children’s shirts for school. Laura has been around fiber arts from her childhood with her mom & aunts, church, school, and quilt stores. She has taken many classes from talented instructors over the last 23+ years. She discovered quilting at age 40 and has been quilting ever since. Laura has been in the teaching industry since 1997. She has taught many classes including food safety, knitting, beginning crochet, knotting for Malas, and now quilted bags! She loves to teach and observe that one moment when the individual smiles that smile that says yes!!!! |
