What If? A Study in Utilizing Directional Print Fabrics

The focus is to explore different ways to showcase directional fabric in your quilts and how to successfully accomplish fabric placement.  This is a 'process' instead of a 'project' based class.  (Although, you will receive instructions for three quilts featuring several techniques covered). This means we will focus on the construction logistics so you will be able to apply these techniques when creating your own projects.

Also covered is how to resize patches in your quilt blocks to any size. There will be a chart provided for the most common sizes and also the formulas so you can make your own calculations.

Kit Purchase required ($30.00 - paid to Sue).  Includes:
  • All fabric, cut to size to complete the 9 techniques covered (see picture above)
  • Acrylic Templates used to square up.
  • 16 page full color handout
  • 3 patterns for quilts designed by Sue Bouchard
