About Us
Quilter's Cottage was established in 1990 by Sharon Walters. The shop started in a small cottage on Vine Street in Fallbrook (just around the corner from our current location!). In 2005, the shop was purchased by Diane Miller and Janice Chow. The shop moved and expanded a couple of times and is currently located one block up from Main Avenue in downtown Fallbrook. After over 10 years in business together, Diane sold her half of the shop to Jan. Contemplating retirement for some time and managing to thrive during the COVID-19 pandemic, Jan decided to sell Quilter's Cottage in 2021.
The shop officially changed hands on November 1, 2021. We're a Fallbrook local family with 2 young children. Our goal is to inspire sewists both experienced and new.
