All About ME

All About ME (Machine Embroidery) is a new club for machine embroidery enthusiasts.  The goal of this 10 month club program is to promote learning about all aspects of machine embroidery.  Topics include hooping basics, stabilizer types and uses, and incorporating new embroidery designs into fun and useful embroidery projects.

Club topics will include:

• Keeping Things Straight--learn about Tear-away stabilizers and make storage for magazines and other "stuff"
• So Many Choices--make a basic purse with interchangeable covers while reviewing Cut-away stabilizers
• You CAN Take it With You--use embroidery to make a unique casserole carrier that is the star of the potluck
• Zakka Style--stitch this small sewing kit to hold those things you need when you sew on the go
• A Little Somethin' Jacket--this easy jacket will become one of your favorites; embellish & embroider and review Water-soluble stabilizers
• Baby Showers--make adorable bibs while embroidering on fleece and knit items; covers hooping, needles, threads, etc
• Pack it Up--use two fat quarters to make a great carryall for travel or sewing essentials; learn about embroidering on "difficult" fabrics like velvet
• Keeping it Close--create an organizer for bedside or end table to keep reading materials handy; quilting in the hoop
• Bag or Bag-ette--small zippered pouches to hold your essentials; do's and dont's for embroidering on laminates
• Keep on Turning--unique four-sided placemats that go through the holidays and beyond; tips for embroidering over seams
